How to watch BYU vs, Utah: Game time, TV schedule, radio and more

NCAA Football: Las Vegas Bowl-Brigham Young vs Utah Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

BYU will be looking to end a five-game losing streak against Utah when they face the Utes in the Holy War at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday. The Utes and Cougars last met in last year’s Las Vegas Bowl, where Utah came out with a 35-28 victory. Based on the history of the series, fans should expect a fairly close matchup between the two teams (15 of the last 20 meetings have been decided by seven points or less).

The key to the game for the Cougars will be to avoid turnovers, which is much easier said than done against the Utes. Utah is +14 in turnover margin over the last five games against BYU and the Utes have scored a majority of their points off those turnovers. If the Cougars can avoid the turnover woes that have plagued them in the last five matchups, they should be able to come away with their first victory in Rice-Eccles since 2006.
