“Jimmermania” took the college basketball world by storm during BYU’s 2010-2011 season, and now it has made its way overseas to China.
After averaging nearly 40 points a game and beating Yao Ming’s Chinese basketball records, a Chinese news station sat down with the Shanghai Sharks star.

Jimmer still seems like his humble and genuine self, which helped make him such a national icon during his senior season at BYU.
It remains unclear whether Jimmer will remain in China or try once again to play in the NBA, but he is making a name for himself in the world’s most populous nation.
