The 6’1”, 175 lbs Herron has predominately played cornerback in high school, and will likely play the same position at BYU. Herron’s offer list consists of in-state schools SUU, Weber State, and Dixie State.
As the number one cornerback on his team, Herron has been an important piece in Arbor View’s stingy defense. At 7-0, Arbor View is the lone undefeated team in Southern Nevada, and has surrendered only four passing touchdowns on the year.
Although not boasting any other offers at the FBS offers at this point, BYU will take a cornerback that has solid speed and physicality with the opportunity to develop into a contributor down the road.
