In advance of their match up this weekend in Greenville, BYU and ECU decided to add a couple more meetings on their future schedules.
BYU announced this morning that the Pirates and Cougars will meet again in the 2022 and 2024 season, with the first of those games taking place in Provo and the second in Greenville.

The first and only game between the two schools took place in 2015 when BYU won 45-38 thanks to three touchdown passes from Tanner Mangum and three rushing touchdowns from Algie Brown.
The addition of a home game in 2022 was much needed considering their challenging road slate that features trips to Utah, Oregon, Stanford and Boise State. The only other scheduled home game in 2022 is against South Florida. The game in 2024 is the first BYU has scheduled for that year, which is a little bit of a surprise considering they have three games (Stanford, Virginia, Minnesota) on the 2025 schedule.
