We are absolutely loving this joyful, tearful reunion between former BYU Football player (current Patriots LB) Harvey Langi and his wife Cassidy (Instagram video above, posted by Cassidy earlier this week).
In the post, Cassidy shares the narrative of an awful crash she and Harvey were involved in on Fri., Oct. 13, 2017. She says they were headed to their Foxborough home after a night out, and were stopped at the light to turn and get to their house, when an SUV “rammed straight into them.” Local reports say the force from the SUV forced the Langi’s car forward, and into another car in front of them, sandwiching them. Cassidy’s father told media the jaws of life had to be used to remove the Langis from their car. Five people total were taken to the hospital. Here are some pics from the scene — pretty sobering.

Cassidy’s post expresses that she and Harvey, who have been married for a little over a year, were not able to see each other for three days after initially arriving at separate hospitals and due to injuries sustained. Reports say Cassidy broke both hips, some ribs, and was monitored for internal injuries. Harvey suffered head and neck injuries. In Cassidy’s Instagram post, she says that she completely blacked out and doesn’t remember a thing, but that Harvey has memory of looking over and seeing her lifeless and covered in blood. His relief to see her is pretty apparent, and oh so very tender. I know I breathed a sigh of relief watching the video. He wraps her up in a giant hug as soon as he can, and tells her how much he loves her.
Count your blessings one by one

Both Cougar Nation and Patriots Nation banded together in support, thought, and prayer after the accident. Patriot’s coach Bill Belichick told media the crash affected the whole Patriots organization. Both former and current BYU players tweeted their support for the Langis.
"(It) shook everybody in the organization."

Cassidy’s Instagram post says she and Harvey’s stay at Massachusetts General Hospital will last a few more days (since the post was a few days ago, they could already be at home recovering). We’re so glad they’re on the mend. It’s great to see Harvey on his feet in the video, and Cassidy awake and alert.
Praying heavy for my Toko and his wife @LANGI21 @CLangi10 Keep them in your prayers❗️
