With Fall semester now over, BYU junior guard Kajon Brown announced his decision to transfer from the program, citing “family and personal reasons.” Brown is from Harvey, Louisiana.

Brown played his freshman year at Tulsa University before transferring to play at Lee College (JUCO) last season. Brown committed to BYU over the summer after taking an official visit to Provo.
Brown played in 9 of BYU’s 13 games this season, totaling 39 minutes on the year. He had 7 points, 2 steals, 1 rebound and 4 turnovers on the year. His best play came on a 3-point play at the end of first half in the game at UVU.
With no current seniors on the roster, BYU will have more space to add additions to next year’s roster. BYU adds the long, athletic Gavin Baxter home from his LDS mission, and Nick Emery is planning on being back with the program. 4-star guard Conner Harding may also be back from his LDS mission before next season begins.
In the meantime, best of luck to Kajon on the next chapter in his life!
