Seth Willis, a 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive line prospect from Newtown High in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for BYU.
Willis received a 78.17 composite rating from 247Sports, making him a two-star prospect and the 18th best prospect in the state of Connecticut this year. He also received offers from four FCS schools.
BYU offered Willis last summer after he visited Provo, and Willis committed on the spot. Willis’ large frame no doubt gave coaches hope that he will one day be able to be a road grader in the interior of the BYU offensive line.
Seth is expected to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before enrolling at BYU. This will mean that we won't even see Willis start competing to break the two-deep until 2019 at the earliest,
