Khyiris Tonga, a 6-4, 300-pound offensive/defensive line prospect from Granger High School in West Valley, Utah has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for BYU.

Tonga was a 3-star prospect in the 2014 class. He originally committed to Utah in that 2014 class, and also had offers from other Pac 12 schools, including Arizona State and Oregon State.

Tonga served an LDS mission in Kansas, and will be enrolled at BYU in time for the 2017 season.

Tonga will immediately compete for time along the line for BYU. It will be interesting to see where BYU coaches decide to put him. He was a versatile player for Granger high; he played at tight end, and in the interior of both lines. OG or DT seem like his most likely position for him at BYU.
