After winning the MVP in the Chinese Basketball Association for the Shanghai Sharks, Jimmer Fredette has spent the past few weeks in the states with his wife and newborn daughter.

Jimmer’s hometown newspaper, the Post Star, recently wrote an article detailing Jimmer’s Chinese experience, including a tidbit that talked about Jimmer receiving multiple NBA contract offers.

According to the Post Star, “a couple teams offered Jimmer 10-day contracts when he returned” from China, but he “was content to stay home with Whitney and their new daughter, Wesley.”

No reports have surfaced about which teams offered Jimmer contracts. Jimmer signed a 10-day contract with the New York Knicks last season, but was cut after not seeing the floor much.

Among other things discussed in the article, Jimmer also received a 3-year endorsement deal with a Chinese shoe company for $345,000. The company is called 361°.

We haven’t found anywhere yet that is selling the shoes in the states, so if you find them, let us know!

Jimmer is already fielding offers for bigger contracts to play in China again next season, but he has yet to decide on whether he will return to China or make another attempt to make an NBA roster.

Either way, good luck to Jimmer!
