Media Mangy released a 35-minute documentary featuring Jamaal Williams as he prepares for the NFL draft. Jamaal’s path to BYU, time at BYU, and time since leaving the school were all discussed and shown in the film.
Many people associated with Jamaal were interviewed, including his mother Nicole, his uncle and trainer Luke Neal, agent Leigh Steinberg, Reno Mahe, and a few others.
One thing that stood out was how little Jamaal knew about BYU and the state of Utah before enrolling at BYU. According to Jamaal, BYU showed the most interest, so he signed with BYU in order to get playing time early on. Jamaal said he thought Utah was “next to Florida” when he was first recruited by BYU.
