The off-season is in full swing, which means a whole lot of... well, not much, really! Regardless, Jess and Mary bring you another episode of Cougs on Cougs to discuss the highlights of the week on BYU social media.
In BYU Basketball news, 6-7 sophomore Dalton Nixon returns home from his mission to Boston, Massachusetts this Friday! We’ve loved getting mission updates from Dalton’s dad, former BYU Basketball forward Kevin Nixon, and we are excited to have Dalton home and on the court next season.

Eric Mika continues to test the draft waters as he preps for the NBA Combine, which begins today and ends on May 14. On Sunday, Eric worked out for the Utah Jazz. No media availability means we have to guess how it went, but knowing Eric, he probably turned some heads. We’ll discuss his combine showing, the new addition to the BYU Basketball roster, and (hopefully) the new assistant coach on next week’s show!
One of the most exciting things to come out of last week were photos of Jamaal Williams and Taysom Hill in their official Green Bay Packers gear. It’s still very early, but we’re certain both guys are earning their spots and proving why they belong.

And of course, the BYU Football team is hard at work during their offseason, getting in those early morning workouts. Jordan Pendleton of Pendleton Performance has been training Tejan Koroma, Tanner Mangum, and the Warner Brothers, and they all look impressive. Especially Tejan—can you believe those arms?!
Why everyone else is sleepin, these dawgs are up at 5:30 AM workin! Great month of training with these guys before they head down south! pic.twitter.com/8VehfL74Vp

And while BYU Basketball and Football are taking a break, the BYU Baseball and Softball teams are still playing. The Softball team has already claimed the WCC Conference title, and the Baseball team is currently in first place! If you can, get out to Miller Field to watch the Baseball team take on UTAH tonight at 6 PM.
We’ll see you next week! Go Cougs!
