BYU Basketball: Returned Missionaries are home and ready to contribute

BYU welcomes back 4 returned missionaries who are ready to play the upcoming season

With 5 months until BYU begins the 2017-2018 regular season, the Cougars have welcomed back 4 returned missionaries that are expected to suit up for BYU this upcoming season.

All 4 returnees played at least one year before their missions, with Luke Worthington being the lone player that played 2 seasons prior to his mission.

Players are listed in order in which they returned, with stats from the season prior to their missions.

Zac Seljaas — 7.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 50% 3P%, 19.9 mpg

Ryan Andrus — 1.9 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 7.5 mpg, 55% FG% 3 made 3-point field goals

Dalton Nixon — 2.1 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 9.7 mpg, 2 starts

Luke Worthington (stats from sophomore year) — 1.8 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 46% FG%, 12.3 mpg, 21 starts

BYU will begin exhibition games in late October, with the official start to the regular season slated to begin at or around November 10.
