It’s week 77 of Cougars on Cougars and only two weeks out from BYU Football’s first game against Portland State (finally)! Jess and Mary kick the show off with a short and sweet Notable Quotable from “Mount Mo,” then check in on former Cougars across the NFL. Preseason games got underway last week, so watch the episode to find out how each former Cougar fared. You’ve probably already heard about Taysom’s touchdown and ensuing Lambeau Leap, but there’s much more to be discussed — Jamaal Williams, Mitch Matthews, Harvey Langi, Bronson Kaufusi, Kai Nacua, etc.

Then, it’s time for Talk of the Town where Luke Worthington is back to being his hilarious self on Twitter, and a few of our favorite former Cougar Hoopsters (including Chase Fischer [MPWACF for life]) met up for a “last supper.”

In football news, Greg Wrubell’s weekly coaches show with Kalani Sitake is coming to BYUtv, so fans can tune in from anywhere. Plus, did you know that Butch Pau’u has a younger brother who is also on the football team? He’s a receiver, and he’s apparently pretty good — with a familiar looking smile. Oh, and here’s a link to the new apparel Jess and Mary spoke of last in Talk of the Town.

Finally, it’s the best for last. Jess and Mary are a little bit over fall ball talk and extremely ready for football that really matters. So, they opted out of ‘Fall Camp Favorites,’ for the week and chose to preview BYU Football’s schedule one last time, instead, before games get underway.
The ladies take a look at what’s in store for the Cougars and lay out some record predictions. They are very interested in yours, so stay on the lookout for a Twitter poll, or tweet them what you think BYU’s final record will be after 13 games. In a shocking twist, Mary ends up being a bit more optimistic than Jess here, although they are both pretty dang nervous about the LSU and Wisconsin games. And about the whole stretch from LSU to East Carolina, really. Regardless, they’re excited to see what this team is made of.

Jess and Mary will be back next week with a Portland State preview! Gettin’ close to single digit days left till gameday, y’all. See you then.
