Jordan Leslie can finally add his name to the list of former BYU Football players makin’ things happen in the NFL. And we’re stoked for him. After an arduous path to an NFL roster, Leslie had a great moment for the Cleveland Browns Sunday when he ‘OBJ’ed’ a 26-yard pass from DeShone Kizer at the Colts’ 2-yard line. See below:

Of course, Cougar Nation was all abuzz about the 2014 grad transfer’s amazing one-handed grab. But this time, so was the rest of the nation. And rightly so. As Sports Illustrated tweeted, along with an amazing pic, “This was Jordan Leslie’s first career catch. THIS.”

Leslie also cracked NFL Network’s ‘Top Five Prime Plays,’ snagging the number three spot! He quote tweeted this with embarrassed face emojis. Seriously, what is not to love about Jles?

The acrobatic grab did lead to a touchdown for the Browns, their second of the day. Cleveland ultimately ended up losing to the Colts, 31-28, but it can certainly be said that Leslie helped make it more competitive.
Unfortunately, the catch was his only target for the day. But hopefully it will be enough to earn him more attention in future games. Kai Nacua, also on the Browns, did not earn any stats Sunday.
Elsewhere in the NFL, Taysom Hill was inactive for the Saints, as was birthday boy Harvey Langi for the New England Patriots. Kyle Van Noy led the Patriots defense with 11 tackles, 9 being solo. Danny Sorensen had 8 tackles for the Chiefs, 6 being solo. And Jamaal Williams had one carry for six yards for the Packers in their OT win over the Bengals.
