BYU head coach had his weekly press conference Monday afternoon, and was candid in his remarks regarding BYU’s offensive struggles.
“Coach speak” is commonplace in these types of situations, but Kalani’s honesty was refreshing; I mean, we all saw how bad the offense was Saturday night.
In regards to Tanner Mangum, Coach Sitake said the following (1:40 mark): “His numbers weren’t great. It’s hard to really evaluate it.. I can’t be really honest with you guys (the media).”
Translation: Tanner was bad and needs to do better.
In addition to the offensive struggles, Sitake also addressed the defensive side of the ball, the upcoming game with Utah, and recruiting.
