It’s episode 99 of Cougars on Cougars — as in our next episode will be number 100. Can you believe it!? We can’t. In celebration of all of those episodes, we’re putting on a big giveaway where you can win all of the stuff pictured below and more (Boney Fuller shirt, BYU Basketball long sleeved shirt, Zephyr hat, signed photos of Elijah Bryant and Dave Rose, etc.). How can you enter, you ask? Send a short video (30 seconds or less, filmed horizontally please) to cougsoncougs@gmail.com, giving our show any type of shout out to help us celebrate 100 episodes. The guidelines are pretty loose. Just get your entry e-mailed in by midnight on Wed. Jan. 31. We’ll randomly draw the winner next week.
Tomorrow: It’s the last week to enter our 100th episode giveaway! Get those videos in. Plus, we’re Coaching from the Couch and have Talk of the Town. Tune in! pic.twitter.com/VEh1iLAdgu

Now to get down to the X’s and O’s — Jess and Mary put on their Couch Coaching caps to talk about what went wrong and what went right in a split week for BYU. The Cougars did not get revenge against Saint Mary’s in Moraga, but managed to pull it off against Pacific Saturday. As you can imagine, the things that went wrong mostly come from that matchup with the Gaels. Jess wonders if BYU Basketball is not making enough three pointers, and Mary revisits one specific moment when Jock Landale singlehandedly stole all the momentum. But then the ladies reflect on happier times, and give some well-deserved praise to the likes of Elijah Bryant, Yoeli Childs, TJ Haws, and Jahshire Hardnett. Leave your Coaching from the Couch input in the comments below.
Jahshire Hardnett's eight rebounds v. Pacific tied his career high set two games ago; his four assists tonight were one off a career high.

TJ Haws' 7 assists tonight were one short of his career high.
Yoeli Childs' 10 FGM tonight were one away from a career high.
Finally, it’s time for Talk of the Town. Jess and Mary open up with a couple of tweets regarding former Cougar Fred Warner’s trip to Mobile, Alabama for the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Warner attracted a lot of very good attention throughout the week. We can’t wait to see where he lands in the NFL Draft!
Fred Warner has had a nice day. Gonna test well

As for basketball, Jess and Mary discuss Ayo & Teo’s visit to BYU and that amazing halftime show, plus could Kyle Collinsworth dunk on Jimmer? Well, probably, but Jimmer wants some proof. Also, which super villain does Randy Bennett resemble? You know we are suckers for a good doppelgänger.

LMU then no. 14 Gonzaga are up next for BYU Basketball this week, both games will be on the road for the Cougars (although the Cougs have felt quite at home at the McCarthey Athletic Center in recent years). Don’t forget about the Cougs on Cougs Ladies Watch Party we’re hosting at Jess’s house for Saturday’s game against the Zags. Please contact us for more details if you’re interested in attending. We look forward to meeting a lot of you. And again, be sure to tune in next week for our special 100th episode, and to find out if you won our giveaway! Get those entries in ASAP.
LADIES -- This is coming up Saturday and we'd love to see you all there. Tag people you know would be interested! Everyone's welcome. #gocougs pic.twitter.com/i2qZYrcXqB
