BYU’s matchup versus old WAC rival Hawaii will be a late night kickoff on ESPN2.
BYU announced Monday morning that the the October 13 matchup in Provo will be at 8:15 MDT on ESPN2. The two teams’ better than expected starts likely factored into the decision that it will get an ESPN2 slot rather than ESPNU.

Hawaii is 5-1 on the season after finishing last year at 3-9. Their high-powered passing attack has led them to a 2-0 start in the MWC and one of the surprise teams out West. Their lone loss in a 7-point defeat at Army, and they are coming off a 5OT win over 0-4 San Jose State.
BYU and Hawaii played each other in the season finale last year, with BYU coming out on top, 30-20. Former Hawaii WR Dylan Collie will be facing his old team after being at Hawaii for the previous 3 season.
