Two former BYU players will be reunited in the Big Apple.

The New York Jets announced Monday afternoon that DE Bronson Kaufusi has been elevated from the practice squad to 53-man roster and LB Harvey Langi has signed with the team’s practice squad.

Kaufusi played in three games and recorded five tackles for the Baltimore Ravens last season before being released and signing with the Jets shortly before the start of the season. He missed his rookie season in 2016 due to a broken ankle, and will look to make the most of his second chance with the Jets. Bronson had a strong preseason, including a two-sack performance in the Ravens preseason finale, but the Ravens decided not to retain him for a third season.

Langi signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2017 and made their 53-man roster as an inside linebacker. He played in one game for the Patriots before being injured in a car accident. The Patriots released him in September, and now Langi will get another chance in the AFC East.

Congrats to both players and best of luck to them as they team up in New York!
