BYU opens as 14-point underdog to Boise State

After a one point loss to Northern Illinois, BYU will be a double digit underdog for the fourth time this season as they take on Boise State. Vegas released their week 10 college football odds and BYU opened as a 14-point underdog on the blue turf.

Boise State is currently on a three-game winning streak and is coming off a 48-38 win at Air Force. Their two losses were a 23-point loss at #24 Oklahoma State and a 6-point loss at home to San Diego State.

Senior QB Brett Rypien has been one of the top quarterbacks in the country, as he is in the top 10 nationally in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. He has 2,565 passing yards with 23 TDs, 5 interceptions and a 67.9% completion percentage.

Their ground attack is led by running back Alexander Mattison, who has 637 rushing yards and 8 rushing TDs on the season.

BYU is 2-1 on the year as double-digit underdogs, with a win at Arizona as a 11.5-point underdog and a win at Wisconsin as a 23.5-point underdog. BYU lost 35-7 to Washington as 18-point underdogs.

BYU-Boise State will kickoff 8:15 pm MDT Saturday night on ESPN2.
