NCAA Football: Arkansas at Louisiana State Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

BYU announced a home-and-home series with Arkansas for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The first game will be October 15, 2022 in Provo and the second will be September 23, 2023 in Fayetteville. The two schools have never met in football.

The series with Arkansas is BYU’s fourth home-and-home series with an SEC team since becoming independent. BYU and Mississippi State already played their two games, and the second of the Missouri series will be played in Provo in 2020. BYU and Tennessee begin their home-and-home series in Knoxville in 2019 with the return game in Provo in 2023.

With the Arkansas announcement, the 2022 season has the following 10 games scheduled:

The 2023 season currently stands as follows:

The 2022 game in particular stands out since BYU doesn’t often get Power 5 opponents to Provo in October. Overall, nice series with a SEC team that should be competitive.
