After clinching bowl eligibility in Saturday night’s win over New Mexico, BYU now heads to Salt Lake City as nearly two-touchdown underdogs.

Vegas released the line for the Holy War and BYU opened as a 13.5-point underdog versus Utah.

The Utes are coming off a win at Colorado and have already clinched a spot in the Pac 12 title game versus either Washington or Washington State. They’ve played their last two games with backup QB Jason Shelley and backup running back Armand Shyne, but their offense hasn’t seen much of a drop off in either win.

Utah boasts a good offense and one of the better defenses in the country. Their 312 yards allowed per game ranks 14th in the nation and their 18.5 points allowed per game is 16th best. Their rush defense is definitely the strength of the defense, as they are 5th nationally in rush defense and 55th in pass defense.

BYU and Utah play Saturday night at 8pm MST on FS1.
