BYU Basketball’s non-conference schedule is winding down with just two games to go before WCC play begins. Saturday evening, BYU Hoops (8-5) will face its second former Mountain West foe in a row — San Diego State. The first former foe was UNLV, who BYU lost to in OT last week.
The San Diego State Aztecs are 6-4 at this point in the season, and come in to the game with BYU off of a 99-46 win versus Cal State Dominguez Hills (Division II). San Diego State has played a couple of teams that BYU is familiar with... The Aztecs beat Illinois State, 75-65. The Cougars lost in OT to the Redbirds. More recently, the Aztecs lost to BYU’s WCC foe San Diego, 73-61.
ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives San Diego State a 61 percent chance to win the game. If you don’t have CBSSN, try a 7-day free trial with a provider like YouTubeTV.
