Nice day for former Cougs on the final day of the NFL regular season, as three former BYU football players scored touchdowns. Here is each touchdown from Taysom Hill, Kyle Van Noy and Daniel Sorensen.
Taysom scored his second rushing TD on the year on this 9-yard run to the endzone. He finished the day with 11 yards on 3 carries and 1 reception for 3 yards. Make sure to also watch at the 33-second mark to get a closer view of Taysom breaking tackles on his way to the endzone.
Kyle Van Noy
KVN continued his playmaking ways, as he became the first Patriots player since 2014 with two non-offensive touchdowns in a season.
Sorensen missed the first 9 games of the season due to injury, but he’s played a key role on the defense since. Sorensen helped the Chiefs clinch the number one seed in the AFC playoffs with this pick 6. Also, not really sure what Raiders TE Jared Cook is doing on this play.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid made sure to make everyone aware of the BYU connection after the game.
Andy Reid re-entered the Chiefs’ locker room still energized, even after his postgame presser. “Man alive!” he said, giving Harrison Butker a high five. He passed by Dan Sorensen talking to reporters and yelled, “BYU!” Happy coach.— Tom Martin (@TomKCTV5) December 31, 2018
