After signing a deal with the Dallas Mavericks last week that guaranteed the rest of the 2017-2018 season, Kyle Collinsworth had his best NBA game Sunday night versus the Houston Rockets.
The former BYU guard played a season-high 31 minutes, and finished with 6 points, 8 rebounds (4 offensive and 4 defensive), 5 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal in the Rockets 104-97 win.
Not only did Kyle stuff the stat sheet with his performance, but he also had a couple highlight worthy plays from the night.
First, Kyle put the clamps on MVP frontrunner James Harden with this impressive block:

Not many people in the NBA can stay in front of Harden like that, and then block the shot without fouling.
The second highlight came on a last-second putback right before the fist half buzzer that put Kyle’s athleticism on display:

Overall, good night for Kyle in a game versus one of the top teams in the NBA. With more performances like that, he could find himself with a spot on a NBA roster for years to come.
