After a thrilling overtime win for BYU Basketball over Pepperdine in Malibu, the Cougars will travel to San Diego to take on the Toreros in Jenny Craig Pavilion Saturday afternoon.
BYU and San Diego last faced each other on Jan. 20 at the Marriott Center. BYU won that match-up, 74-58 and TJ Haws scored 24 points.
San Diego has a reputation for being a defensive force in the WCC and has been involved in many low-scoring affairs. Their conference record is 7-8 and they’re in 5th place. BYU is three games behind Saint Mary’s for third place in the WCC, with a 10-5 record. Incidentally, there are three games remaining in regular season conference place. The Cougars are seeking their 22nd win before heading into next week to face Portland in Portland and Gonzaga in Provo.

Will it be a close match-up between the Cougars and Toreros? Will BYU need more late-game heroics from Elijah Bryant? Will TJ Haws put up another great offensive performance, like in the last game with San Diego? Get our game thread going in the comments below.
