BYU got some help in the defensive backfield, with the commitment of Las Vegas (Arbor View HS) DB Isaiah Herron.
The 6’1”, 175 lbs Herron predominately played cornerback in high school, and will likely play the same position at BYU. Herron’s offer list consists of Utah schools SUU, Weber State, and Dixie State.
Although under recruited, Herron seems like the type of cornerback that can be developed into a contributor down the road. Herron was a first-team cornerback in Nevada, and played a lot of press coverage for Arbor View. He was a key cog for a stingy defense that was one of the best in the state of Nevada and finished 10-1 on the year.
