The WCC Tournament kicked off in Las Vegas Friday and BYU Basketball will have its first game Saturday afternoon against the University of San Diego Toreros in the Quarterfinal round.
The Cougars faced the Toreros last just a couple of weeks ago in Jenny Craig Pavilion and lost by 13 (the score was 75-62), proving what a tough match-up the Toreros can be for this BYU squad. BYU did win in the first meeting between the two teams back in January, 74-58.
If the third-seeded Cougars do beat the sixth-seeded Toreros, they will face the winner of the Saint Mary’s/Pepperdine game on Monday evening. For the full TV schedule and bracket for the WCC Tournament, click here.
