Buchanan was a member of the 2017 recruiting class and redshirted his lone year on campus. Buchanan participated in Spring ball and was one of the pleasant surprises according to many media members who attended practices.
A high school track star who was lauded for his speed when he signed with BYU, Buchanan can play right away without sitting out a year since he is transferring to the FCS level.
A native of Elgin, Texas, Tariq will be playing his college ball closer to home.
Best of luck to Tariq as he continues his college journey!
