Erickson is being recruited as a tight end, but he is also a member of Kahuku High School’s basketball team and is one of the top punters in Hawaii. He recently took home the MVP Punter award at the GPA Showcase football combine in Hawaii.
With the commitment of Erickson, BYU is up to nine commitments in the 2019 recruiting class. Erickson told 247 Sports that he is planning on serving a LDS mission before enrolling at BYU.
