The Madden 19 release date isn’t until August 10, but EA released every player’s ratings yesterday prior to the game’s release.

With no NCAA Football 19 to play (RIP), playing as former BYU players can be a fun way to pass the time for gamers.

Here are the 15 former BYU players Madden 19 Ratings, starting from the highest rated:

Ziggy Ansah- 83 OVR

BYU’s top rated player in Madden 19, Ziggy is the 4th fastest right end in the game.

Kyle Van Noy- 76 OVR

KVN is the Patriots second best OLB with his 76 OVR rating. His 72 catch rating will get you some user picks.

Jamaal Williams- 75 OVR

BYU’s lone half back in the game gets a respectable 75 overall rating. Not to be overlooked is Jamaal’s 66 pass blocking rating, which is third best among all running backs. Jamaal is tied with Aaron Jones for the second best RB on Green Bay’s roster, behind Ty Montgomery’s 81 overall rating.

Daniel Sorensen- 73 OVR

Sorensen in the first of three former Cougars on the Chiefs roster.

Fred Warner- 71 OVR

The rookie’s 71 catch rating is in the top 10 for all MLB’s in the game.

Bronson Kaufusi- 70 OVR

After an injury-plagued start to his career, Bronson checks in with a respectable 70 overall rating.

Harvey Langi- 68 OVR

After a career-threatening car injury last year, Langi gets a 68 rating and is an OLB opposite Kyle Van Noy.

Michael Davis- 67 OVR

The fastest former Cougar in the game checks in with a 92 speed rating.

Kai Nacua- 67 OVR

After playing last season with the Browns, Nacua joins his former BYU teammate Bronson in Baltimore.

De’Ondre Wesley- 66 OVR

Wesley enters his third season in the NFL with the Bills after playing the prior two with the Ravens.

Algie Brown- 66 OVR

The second Chiefs player on this list, Brown is a full back in the Kansas City backfield.

Jordan Leslie- 64 OVR

Leslie continues to stick around in the NFL as he now finds himself on the Denver Broncos.

Taysom Hill- 60 OVR

A little surprising Taysom is rated at a 60 considering the positive publicity he’s gotten this offseason. Although his rating his low, Taysom’s 57 tackling rating in tops for all QB’s and his 87 speed rating is fifth among all signal callers. His 81 injury rating is 6th lowest among all QB’s.

Tejan Koroma- 59 OVR

Even if things don’t work out for Tejan, at least he can say he was in a Madden video game.

John Denney- 48 OVR

All long snappers are listed as tight ends, hence the veteran long snapper’s low rating.
