BYU will be without two expected defensive contributors, as DT Tevita Mo’unga and CB Trevion Greene will be redshirting this season.
At 6’3” 340 pounds, Mo’unga was expected to be a part of BYU’s interior defensive line rotation. He didn’t participate in Fall Camp, and announced on his Instagram account that he will redshirt this season. He will be a redshirt junior next fall. He was expected to compete for a starting cornerback spot after being in the program for a year. Greene played in 10 games last season after transferring from the JUCO ranks. He will be a redshirt junior next fall.
Best of luck to Tevita and Trevion, and we can’t wait to see them in Cougar blue again next season!
