Can BYU basketball find a way to win on the road?

We’re about to find out as BYU heads to California this week for a pair of games, looking to improve their 1-6 road record. Join Steve Pierce and Robby McCombs in the tenth (!) episode of our all-hoops podcast, Shut Up and Jimmer, as we discuss that and look back at the week that was. You can listen using the player embedded below.

We start things off by addressing the Jahshire Hardnett situation, discussing why he decided to stay with BYU and the severity of his hand injury. How close was Jahshire to actually transferring from the program?

We also recap last week’s two home wins over Portland and Santa Clara before previewing the Cougars’ upcoming road trip to Pepperdine and San Francisco. Can BYU reverse its bad fortune in Malibu and continue the tradition of hot shooting on the Hilltop?

Shut Up and Jimmer is available on all major podcast platforms — including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts and Stitcher. New episodes are released weekly on Mondays throughout the season, where we’ll break down the latest action from the boys in blue, look ahead to future matchups and maybe even talk a little recruiting.
