After two games at home in Provo, BYU Basketball will play both of its games away this week. Will the road woes continue? Pacific is still the Cougars’ one and only true road win. BYU faces Pepperdine at the (dreaded by BYU fans) Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu Thursday night.
The Pepperdine Waves come in to Thursday’s game with BYU at 9-9 overall, 2-2 in the WCC. Pepperdine’s two WCC wins came against LMU and San Diego. Their two losses came at the hands of Santa Clara and red-hot San Francisco.
BYU is 11-8 overall after beating Santa Clara, 80-74 Saturday. The Cougars are 3-1 in conference play, with the one loss coming to Saint Mary’s in Moraga.
