BYU Basketball is looking to break its second three-game losing streak this season at Pacific Thursday as WCC play begins. The 8-6 Cougars most recently lost at no. 19 Mississippi State, and to San Diego State and UNLV before that. The Pacific Tigers are 10-5 overall and come into the game with BYU off of an 84-75 overtime win against UC Irvine.
UNLV and Nevada are a couple of common opponents the Tigers and Cougars have played. Both BYU and Pacific got beat by both UNLV and Nevada. Though Pacific has the better record, ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives BYU a 68 percent chance of winning the matchup in Stockton.
