BYU volleyball returned to its winning ways with a 3-1 win over Loyola Marymount and a 3-0 sweep over Pepperdine in Southern California.
The Cougars had fallen to LMU in their season finale in 2018, with the loss being their lone loss in that incredible 2018 season. BYU would put take care of LMU this time around, beating them in four sets.
BYU easily ran over Pepperdine, who gave BYU a lifeline in the WCC Standings. With the Cougars falling to San Diego last week, they needed some help from another conference member, and Pepperdine swept the Torreros to keep the Cougars tied atop the WCC standings.
BYU will host St Mary’s and Pacific this week on Thursday and Saturday at the Smith Fieldhouse.
