Coming off a big win over Boise State and a bye week, BYU will head into Logan as an underdog versus Utah State.
Vegas released its week 10 lines and opened with BYU as a 7-point underdog versus Utah State; the line quickly went down to 6 points, where it now stands as of this publishing.
Utah State (4-3) is coming off a blowout 31-7 loss at Air Force. The Falcons’ triple option gave the Aggies fits all night, as they finished with 448 rushing yards and had 45:43 in time of possession.
BYU’s QB situation is still up in the air and is a big storyline. We know Zach Wilson is out, and coaches may not reveal whether Jaren Hall or Baylor Romney will start until shortly before kickoff.
BYU could also be getting a few guys off injuries who missed the last game versus Boise State, including RB Emmanuel Esukpa, multiple players on the offensive line, and defensive backs Troy Warner and Chris Wilcox — Warner and Wilcox have yet to play this season, but are on track to play four games this season to preserve their redshirts.
BYU-Utah State will kickoff Saturday night on ESPN2 at 8:00 pm MST.
