BYU Women’s Volleyball swept San Francisco Saturday afternoon 25-17, 25-14, 25-23 as they improved to 22-3 on the season and 13-1 in WCC play.
The Cougars had an impressive first set, with no errors in the set. BYU was never threatened, and won comfortably 25-17. The second set wasn’t any different, with BYU opening up 5-0 and going on to win the set by 11 points.
The Dons were more competitive in the third set, even leading the set 23-20. The Cougars would score the final five points of the set to win 25-23.
BYU’s next match is at conference co-leader San Diego. The winner of the match will likely win the conference, so BYU will need to be at their best to redeem their loss to the Torreros earlier in the season.
