After a disappointing 76-71 loss to San Diego State over the weekend, BYU Basketball (1-1) will be back in action Wed. night against in-state foe Southern Utah University. This game is listed as a campus game for the Maui Jim Invitational.
The SUU Thunderbirds (from the Big Sky Conference) are 2-0 on the season. They beat Bethesda 110-66 in their season opener, then went on the road to beat Nebraska 79-78 in 2OTs.
Nebraska loses a buy game to Southern Utah. The epitome of brutality.

This will be BYU’s last game in a home stretch before hitting the road to take on Houston then Boise State — It will be a telling stretch for the Cougars, especially as they soldier on without Yoeli Childs for a few more games.
