After taking down Houston with a buzzer beater, Vegas sees another tight game for BYU Basketball Wednesday night in Boise. Vegas released the line for BYU-Boise State and opened with the game as a pick ‘em. In other words, neither team is favored and you put your money down on which team you think will win.
Boise State is 1-2 on the year and coming off consecutive losses on the road to Oregon and home to UC Irvine. The Broncos were picked 5th in the preseason MWC poll and are currently ranked 121 in KenPom. KenPom gives BYU, ranked 68, a 56% chance to win and predicts a 76-74 final score.
Boise State is probably behind both San Diego State and Houston in terms of talent, but they will present a road test for a shorthanded BYU team. The Broncos will be the biggest team BYU has played; they have four guys 6-foot-9 or taller and seven guys 6-foot-7 or taller, so BYU will have to be active on the glass as always to compensate for the size differential.
BYU-Boise State will tip off Wednesday at 8pm MST on CBS Sports Network.
