BYU Basketball’s third of three games in the Maui Jim Invitational will be against Virginia Tech Wednesday night. This will be the fourth meeting between the Cougars and Hokies, and the Cougars are 4-0 in the series. They last faced each other in 2016.

BYU got to this game for third place in the tournament by beating UCLA Monday night, then losing to no. 4 Kansas, 71-56 Tuesday night. Virginia Tech beat no. 3 Michigan State on Monday, then lost to Dayton, 89-62. It should be an interesting matchup between BYU and Virginia Tech — Both teams are pretty small and rely on good shooting. Virginia Tech opened as a slight favorite.
