BYU Basketball’s first real test of the season rolls into town Saturday afternoon in the San Diego State Aztecs out of the Mountain West Conference.
Both the Cougars and the Aztecs are 1-0 on the season. BYU beat Cal State Fullerton, 76-58 Tuesday, while SDSU beat Texas Southern, 77-42.
BYU finds itself a slight favorite (4 points) heading into the game, and ESPN’s matchup predictor gives the Cougars a 72 percent chance of winning. This game against SDSU will continue BYU’s nine game stretch without Yoeli Childs, meaning BYU will have to stay relying largely on guard play.
