Jackson redshirted this season and fell off the radar for many teams as a result. As a sophomore in 2018, he had 50 receptions for 695 yards and 4 touchdowns. In addition to BYU, he had scholarship offers from Middle Tennessee State and San Jose State.
With Aleva Hifo, Talon Shumway and Micah Simon all graduating, Jackson will be counted on to be an instant impact player for BYU. BYU doesn’t have a true deep threat on the roster that can take the top off the defense, and Jackson will be counted on to fill that role. Jackson is the 20th commitment of the 2020 class and the fourth wide receiver commitment.
Jackson will be a redshirt junior and have two years of eligibility remaining.
