BYU Basketball (18-12) is back home at the Marriott Center Saturday and will face the San Diego Toreros. BYU is coming off another beat down (this time 102-68) at the hands of the now no. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs. This game marks the end of the regular season for BYU. If they can win it, they’ll be the no. 3 in the WCC Tournament next week. Stay tuned for more details on that tournament, when BYU will play, and how you can watch.
San Diego shares the same overall record as BYU at 18-12. The Toreros are 7-8 in the WCC. They did BYU a favor by beating San Francisco in overtime Thursday — that was their most recent game and they won it, 91-90 in an overtime they came from behind to force.
Speaking of San Diego and overtime, BYU beat the Toreros 88-82 in overtime at Jenny Craig Pavilion on Valentine’s Day.
