BYU basketball announced the addition of 6-foot-2 guard Taylor Miller to the 2019-2020 roster. Miller arrived home from his Church mission to North Carolina in December and is redshirting this season after joining the team in January.
A member of the 2016 recruiting class, Taylor signed with SUU prior to his mission. Miller attended Palo Verde High School (Las Vegas, NV) and led the state in scoring as a senior with 27 points per game. He was named first team all-state by multiple outlets and was a McDonald’s All-American nominee.
Miller is a high volume scorer who is not afraid to pull up from three point range off the dribble; he has multiple highlights of him knocking down threes from NBA range. He also has some bounce, as he is able to convert put back dunks and alley oops above the rim.
Miller will begin next season as a walk on and a redshirt freshman. You can watch his senior year highlights below.
