BYU Football Recruiting: 2020 DE Isaiah Perez commits to Cougars, Zach Wilson’s brother receives offer

NCAA Football: Potato Bowl-Brigham Young vs Western Michigan Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

BYU landed a commitment from the state of Washington as 2020 defensive end Isaiah Perez committed to the Cougars.

The 6-foot-3, 240 pounds 3-star prospect from Othello, Washington wrecked havoc on the 2A scene in the state of Washington this past season. Whether it be in the run or pass game, Perez was constantly in the backfield as a defensive end and linebacker. In addition to being an all-state defensive end, Perez was also named an all-state running back.

According to Jeff Hansen at 247 Sports, Perez plans to join the BYU program right after graduating high school.

Josh Wilson

BYU offered a notable prospect Wednesday in 2020 3-star Corner Canyon (Draper, Utah) linebacker Josh Wilson. Josh in the younger brother of BYU QB Zach Wilson.

If Josh signs with BYU, he will be a freshman when Zach is a junior. BYU is Josh’s first FBS 2020 offer, but will surely not be the last. Expect a bunch of other schools to get in the mix before he signs.

We may be a bit biased, but seeing Zach and Josh both in BYU blue would be pretty sweet after growing up Utah fans their whole childhood.
