ESPN released its Football Power Index Rankings last week, favoring BYU in 8 games, and now Vegas has released odds for 6 of BYU’s top games.
The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook released dozens of betting lines for the for its “2019 games of the year.” BYU opened as a 6-point underdog to Utah when the week one lines were released a couple months back, and now odds from throughout the season are out.
Here are the BYU games that were released. Note: “+” means underdog, “-” favorite.
BYU +6 vs Utah
BYU +3 at Tennessee
BYU +4 vs usc
BYU +5.5 vs Washington
BYU -2.5 vs Boise
BYU -2 at Utah State
Not surprisingly, BYU is underdogs in each of its first four games. However, all four games are all within one score. Many professional gamblers have already jumped on the Tennessee line, believing that the Vols should be a bigger favorite.
Game of Year Bet: Tennessee -3 over BYU.

My power ratings say this should be closer to Tennessee -7. Plus, the Volunteers are coming off Georgia St and only have Chattanooga on deck. Meanwhile, BYU is off a rivalry game vs Utah and have home games vs USC and Washington on deck. pic.twitter.com/uGeDGlyPL0
Although most of our fanbase probably doesn’t gamble, it’s always fun to see how Vegas forecasts BYU games. These lines will obviously change throughout the season, but we have a sense of how the wise guys in Vegas see BYU.
