BYU Volleyball swept Mount Olive again on Saturday afternoon in North Carolina, winning straight sets 25-20, 25-23, 25-16.
BYU moves to 6-0 on the season with the win, and has only lost two sets in the six matches. BYU had beaten the Trojans Friday night in three sets, and the Trojans were pesky in the final set.
Saturday was more of the same from the Trojans, who until the third set would not allow BYU to win without a battle. BYU managed to win all three sets, but the effort from Mount Olive was respectable.
The Cougars are currently ranked 2nd, and may start receiving more votes for the top ranking this week. That honor is currently held by Hawaii. BYU will be traveling to California this coming week to play UC Irvine on Wednesday and Friday. BYU split their series last year, beating the Anteaters in the first match 3-1 but following in four sets the next day. UC Irvine is currently ranked seventh.
