BYU Basketball (12-4) is on the road for a big game against the Saint Mary Gaels Thursday night. The game with the Gaels will be the second in WCC play (and the first on the road) for the BYU Cougars. BYU is 1-0 in conference play after defeating LMU 63-38 on Saturday. The Cougars have won six games in a row — their last loss coming back on Dec. 7 (Utah).

Saint Mary’s last played on Saturday, losing at Pacific in FOUR (yes four) overtimes, 107-99. Saint Mary’s is 1-1 in WCC play and 14-3 overall. The Gaels opened their season by beating Wisconsin (who knocked off then-no. 5 Ohio State last week). Like BYU, Saint Mary’s beat Nevada and Utah State in non-conference play. They are, as per usual, a dangerous squad.
