Details will be released in the coming weeks regarding fans in attendance at the stadium for the Saturday night game. BYU’s first game with fans will be this Friday at Houston.
This will be BYU’s third night home game of the season. BYU had a 7:00 kickoff versus Louisiana Tech and the same 8:15 kickoff versus Troy. The Mountain West kicks off their season on the 24th, so BYU won’t be the only western school playing on the 24th.
Despite the matchup versus s low-level FBS school like Texas State, BYU still got an ESPN slot over other MWC matchups that could have been featured on the same night.
