BYU fans are familiar with the 8:15 P.M. slot on Friday and Saturday nights, and Lavell Edwards Stadium always feels electric at night games. BYU could be 6-0 as they host the Hilltoppers, and currently sit at #12 in the AP Poll. Western Kentucky has disappointed this season so far, sitting at 1-4 through five games, with the lone win coming against Middle Tennessee. They finished last season 9-4 and were one of the top teams in Conference USA.
BYU and Western Kentucky have never faced off on the gridiron, but BYU won a mascot Twitter poll matchup earlier this year, with Cosmo beating out Big Red by a narrow margin.
